Why Call Instead of Filling Out a Form?

Because the details that change a window price rarely fit in a form field. Whether a slider track is packed with Santa Ana dust, whether second-story glass sits over a steep drop, or whether sprinkler spray has been hitting the same pane for a year are all things we can sort out in a two-minute conversation. A call also means you hear a number from someone who can answer follow-up questions on the spot, instead of waiting for a reply.

If calling isn’t convenient, email works fine. Just include your address, a rough window count and any photos, and we’ll follow up with questions if we need them.

What to Have Ready When You Call

You don’t need exact measurements. A few details help us give you a range that holds up once we see the property.

🔢 Number of Windows

A rough count is enough. We’ll refine it with you on the phone.

🏠 Stories and Layout

One story, two stories, hillside, or a mix. Height and slope affect access.

🪟 Inside, Outside or Both

Exterior and interior are priced separately, so tell us which you want.

🚪 Access Details

Gates, HOA rules, locked side yards, pets, or anything that affects reaching the glass.

💧 Spots or Buildup

Salt film, white sprinkler marks, or paint and stucco residue, so we can plan the visit.

📅 Preferred Timing

Days that work for you, or a deadline like a guest check-in or an open house.

What Happens After You Call

1

We Listen

You describe the property, the windows and what bothers you.

2

You Get a Range

A real price range on the phone, not a vague “it depends.”

3

We Confirm Access

Gate codes, pets, parking and timing sorted before the visit.

4

We Set the Visit

A time that fits your schedule, your guests or your business hours.

5

We Show You the Result

Walkthrough with you, or a photo report emailed if you’re not home.

What Affects Your Price

Four things decide your number. We explain each one on the phone so nothing surprises you later.

Number of Windows

More glass means more time. We price by the job, not by the pane, so a rough count is usually enough to start.

Stories and Access

Two-story and hillside homes take longer because of ladder or pole setup. We account for it when we quote, not after.

Buildup on the Glass

Light dust is quick. Salt film, hard water rings or construction residue take more time and may be quoted separately.

Extras You Choose

Interior cleaning, skylights, glass railings and rescreening are priced as their own lines, so you only pay for what you need.

Skip the back-and-forth. One call gets you a real price.

How Much Does a Visit Cost?

Our minimum visit is $150. Three things drive the price: how many windows, how many stories, and how much buildup we find. As a rough guide, a condo or single-story home typically runs $180 to $250, a two-story home $250 to $350, and a hillside or ocean-view home with large glass $300 to $450. Hard water treatment, skylights and screen repair are quoted separately, since not every home needs them. For more detail, see the pricing overview on our homepage.

Is There a Charge for a Quote?

No. Getting a price over the phone costs nothing and doesn’t commit you to booking. We give you a range right away and confirm the final number before any work starts, so there are no surprises.

Can I Email Photos of My Windows?

Yes. Photos are especially useful for tricky jobs, like heavy white spotting, paint or stucco residue, skylights, or glass railings. Email them to hello@purewindowssanclemente.com with your address and the best number to reach you. We’ll still confirm the final price before any work begins.

How Should I Prepare for the Visit?

Not much is needed. Clear the sills and the area right below each window, put away anything fragile near the glass, secure pets, and make sure gates and side yards are unlocked or that we have the code. For interior cleaning, a few feet of clear space around each window helps. If a sprinkler regularly hits one particular window, mention it and we’ll note it afterward.

Do Hillside or Gated Properties Cost More?

Sometimes, and we tell you why. Hillside lots and multi-story glass take longer because of the setup and slower pole or ladder work, and gated communities can add arrival time. We factor that into the range we give you on the phone rather than adding it afterward, so the number you hear is the number we plan around.

Does Someone Need to Be Home?

Not necessarily. Many rentals, second homes and businesses are cleaned while the owner is away. We confirm access ahead of time and send a photo report afterward, so you can see the result without being on site.

What if I Manage Rentals or More Than One Property?

Call and describe the setup. For vacation rentals, listings and move-outs we work around your guest and showing dates, and for storefronts and offices we schedule before or after business hours. Grouping several properties on one visit day is often more efficient than booking each one separately.
