Pure Windows is a local, window-only team serving San Clemente and the South Orange County coast. We don’t do gutters, pressure washing or a dozen other jobs on the side. Glass, screens, tracks and sills are what we work on, so we know what ocean salt, the marine layer and coastal sprinklers do to glass here, and we focus on fixing it properly, every visit.

This page covers who we are, how we work, what we won’t do, and how to get started. If you’d rather skip the reading, one phone call gets you a real price before we ever start.

Why We Only Work on Windows

Most home-service companies list windows as one line on a long menu. For us it is the whole menu. That focus shows up in small ways: the tools we carry, the way we test a corner of glass before treating salt film or hard water, and the habit of checking tracks, sills and screens on every visit instead of treating them as extras.

It also shows up in what we tell you. Glass on the coast behaves differently from glass inland. A spot that wipes off in Talega may need a different approach in Pier Bowl, and a hillside home in Marblehead may need different access altogether. Knowing the difference is the whole point of staying focused.

What We Believe

Six simple habits shape every visit, whether it is a condo, a hillside home or a storefront.

💰 Price Before We Start

We quote by the job. You get a real range on the phone and a confirmed number before work begins, and nothing is added after we start.

🧪 Test, Then Treat

Salt film and hard water spots don’t all respond the same way. We test a small section first, then tell you what to expect before treating the rest.

🤝 Honest About Limits

If a spot is etched, a pane is fogged between the layers, or a window can’t be safely reached, we say so plainly instead of promising what cleaning can’t deliver.

✅ Included, Not Upsold

Screens, tracks and sills are part of every standard visit. Only genuinely extra work, like hard water treatment, is quoted separately.

📅 Built Around Your Schedule

Rental turnovers, listing dates and business hours set the timing, not a fixed route that suits us better than it suits you.

📍 Local Knowledge

We know the water districts, the sprinkler patterns, the Santa Ana dust and the gate codes that come with working in this area.

Why Does Local Experience Matter for Window Cleaning?

Because San Clemente is not one environment. Not every address gets its water from the same place. Talega is served by the Santa Margarita Water District, parts of north San Clemente run through the South Coast Water District, and most of the rest of the city is served by the City of San Clemente itself. Mineral content varies between them, which changes how quickly hard water spots build up.

Add the salt that rides in on the marine layer near the pier, sprinkler overspray hitting ground-floor glass, and Santa Ana dust packed into sliding-door tracks, and you get a set of problems that a one-size-fits-all visit doesn’t cover. We plan each job around the neighborhood, not just the number of windows.

What Kinds of Properties Do We Work On?

Homes and condos are the core of our work, but the same approach carries over to vacation rentals, pre-listing and move-out cleans, hillside and multi-story homes, post-construction glass, and storefronts and offices. Each one has its own timing, access and residue questions, and we handle them one at a time.

How Do We Test Before We Treat?

Before we treat salt film or hard water, we pick a small, low-visibility corner of the glass and try the gentlest method that could work. We watch how the deposit and the glass respond, then decide whether a standard wash is enough or whether the window needs a separate treatment step. That test is what lets us tell you, honestly, what is likely to lift and what might leave a faint mark, before we commit to treating the rest.

Is Our Cleaning Safe for Low-E Glass and Coatings?

Yes. Standard factory tints and Low-E coatings hold up well to the methods we use, because Low-E coatings sit on an inner surface of the glass unit rather than on the exterior face we clean. If you have an aftermarket film on any window, mention it when you call so we can use a gentler method on that glass.

Do We Work With HOAs, Gated Communities and Rentals?

Yes. Send us the gate code, the guard-list details or any required documentation ahead of time and we’ll be ready on the day. For rentals and listings we schedule around guest turnovers, photographer visits and open houses, and we can email before-and-after photos if you’re managing the property from somewhere else.

What We Don’t Do

We keep our scope tight on purpose. Knowing where the line is protects your glass and your time.

Reach glass we can’t safely reach

If a window is beyond what our ladders and poles can safely cover, we tell you instead of improvising.

Promise a spot will fully clear

Old etching can leave a faint mark. We test first and explain what is likely before we treat.

Repair hardware or failed seals

A fogged double-pane or a sticking slider needs a window specialist. We point it out rather than charge for a wash that won’t fix it.

Add surprise charges

The price is confirmed before we start. If something genuinely different turns up, we explain it before any extra work.

Salt film builds fastest here, especially on ocean-facing glass near the Beach Trail.

🌿 Talega

Santa Margarita Water District supply and heavy sprinkler use near lawns and HOA landscaping.

🏔️ Forster Ranch

Hillside glass, multi-story access and Santa Ana wind exposure.

🌊 Marblehead & Rancho San Clemente

Large view glass, deck railings and big sliding doors.
